PAC Australia panel call out
PAC Australia manage a range of panels and advisory groups and deliver an expanding series of market events and professional development opportunities for our members and the broader sector. Increasing opportunity and participation from across the performing arts is a high priority for PAC Australia. We’re committed to ensuring that traditionally underrepresented communities become our engaged partners, and that there is an authenticity of voices across everything we do.
We are currently seeking individuals from across the Australian performing arts sector to contribute to these important roles. These include:
- APAX Market Selection Panel
- APAX Conference Speakers and Facilitators
- Impact Awards panelists
- Presenter Training and Development Program Speakers
- Touring Advisory Group (co-convened with Regional Arts Australia)
- Peer reviewers
There are also several opportunities to undertake ‘observer’ positions on panels and advisory groups, should you not feel ready to actively participate, but would benefit from the professional development opportunity.
If you are interested in expressing interest in any of the above, please review the opportunities outlined here, including any supporting materials provided. There is a short expression of interest form which should only take you a few minutes to complete. We will then review the EOIs received to select individuals with the right mix of skills, experience and representation for each stream. The names of all individuals on our panels, advisory group/s and programs will be published on our website.
Once recruitment for each panel or program for this year is finalised, all other individuals nominating for these roles are placed in a pool for future placements. The turnover period for each panel is indicated for each stream, however, indicatively, the pool will remain current for up to 24 months. Unsalaried workers will be paid sitting fees and/or honorariums for their participation.
If we are unable to meet the minimum requirements of each panel as part of this call out, we will undertake direct approaches as necessary, or request further advice and referrals from sector peers.
Please note, PAC Australia may also call for nominations to our board (including observer roles) through a separate, constituted process towards the middle of the year.
