Adaptive Futures Session 1 – Speakers Announced
Meet the speakers for Session 1 of Adaptive Futures. Preparing arts organisations to understand emerging climate risks.
Adaptive Futures is designed to help arts organisations understand that every job can be a climate job.
Session 1 is for Organisation Leaders, Board and Executive Management and Heads of Programming and Marketing from performing arts centres but participation is welcome from across the sector. Whilst specifically designed for Governance and Leadership of performing arts centres, you do not have to be from a venue or a PAC Australia member to attend this session.
Session 1 of Adaptive Futures will:

Develop board and executive competence in climate risk management

Share a snapshot of the climate risk projections across Australia

Include a live role-play climate risk assessment opportunity for participants to contribute to the session.
Matthew Coleman (Senior Consultant, Pangolin) will lead the governance discussion and facilitate the climate risk assessment together with Penny Miles (Executive, Betty Amsden Foundation and Senior Associate, Tony Grybowski and Associates). Our live role-play speakers are Kim Bluett (Head of Risk, Sydney Opera House), Criena Gehrke (Executive Director, Queensland Theatre) and Elena Kirschbaum (Director, Gluttony).
