Drover Awards – Call for Eligible Productions

Is your touring production eligible for the 2019 Drover Awards?

 

The Drover Awards are presented at the annual PAC Australia conference – this year’s conference REAP and our national Performing Arts Exchange will held be in Caloundra 26-29 August and the Drover’s will be awarded during the conference dinner on Thursday, 29th August.

The Drover for TOUR OF THE YEAR recognises both the production company’s outstanding commitment to touring and the tour coordinator’s delivery of exceptional touring services.

Tour productions are eligible for award nomination if the tour:

~ was completed during the period 1 May 2018 – April 30 2019

~ included at least five PAC Australia member venues (you can find a list of PAC Australia venues here).

Any of the following tours are eligible:

~ Tours funded by Playing Australia

~ Tours funded by State Ministries

~ Tours that are not funded

 

New in 2019 

Any producer or artist can enter the Drover Awards for Tour of the Year however,  in order to become a finalist you must be a PAC Australia Member.
Don’t fret! If you aren’t already a PAC Australia member and your production is considered to be a finalist we will contact you about joining, or you can join now.

Please send your list of eligible productions by Wednesday 22nd May to sarah@paca.org.au. We require the name of the production, the producer and tour coordinator (if applicable) and the list of venues on your tour.
