Coffs Harbour's Jetty Memorial Theatre was built in 1927, opening with a gala social evening and dance. In 1930, the theatre was leased as a cinema - until the late 1970s. The theatre was managed by a community-based committee from the 1980's until 2003, which, through its members' hard work, developed a community venue for the cultural arts and live theatre. The Jetty Memorial Theatre reopened on 15 October 2003 after a $1.6 million refurbishment program. The project won a Highly Commended Award at the inaugural Local Government Cultural Awards. The auditorium has a proscenium stage, a seating capacity of 249, 151 are tiered and 98 are movable stalls seating. This allows the theatre to be used for a wide range of events: plays, musicals, film screenings, product launches and seminars. The theatre has fully equipped lighting and audio systems, wheelchair access, a hearing loop for the hearing impaired, a baby Grand Piano and is climatically controlled. The Roxy Community Theatre is a heritage-listed cinema, live theatre, theatre, concert venue and meeting venue located at 114-118 Pine Avenue, Leeton in the Leeton Shire local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Kaberry and Chard architects in the Art Deco/Art Nouveau/Spanish Mission style and built from 1929 to 1930 by W. H. Hones for George Conson. It is also known as Roxy Theatre and Big Red. The property is owned by Leeton Shire Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 24 February 2006. From 2022 to 2024, the Roxy Theatre has been undergoing extensive structural renovations. It is due to reopen at the end of 2024 with a 'Community First' program and a major launch early in 2025. The Roxy redevelopment, funded by Leeton Shire Council, Create NSW, and the Australian Federal Government, will address a myriad of technical, functional and access issues, and will deliver on community aspirations to foster, and mentor artistic excellence in the region.

Performance Arts Culture Cessnock - or PACC - opened in November 2008 as Cessnock Performing Arts Centre (CPAC). The theatre seats 466 people and sits neatly between and within two historically significant buildings and has been designed using contemporary materials and finishes that subtly contrast with the patina of the older buildings. The stage is a Proscenium Arch ( 5000mm high x 8000mm wide ) non fly tower venue. The rigging system is a combination of dead hung masking, a traveller main curtain, mid stage flat black traveller, upstage flat black traveller and a white cyc. The Theatre is equipped to cover professional staging needs. This includes a Meyer sound system, Allen and Heath GLD80 desk, ETC Ion lighting controls, 132 dimmers and a mixture of intelligent and incandescent lighting instruments. Lighting is hung from six motorised trusses. There is a small Orchestra pit which if required must have the Thrust Stage pieces removed. Stairs both Prompt and OPrompt provide access from the Stage to the Auditorium. Access for trucks via a loading dock (OP) and loading area at rear of the building.

The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd manages the The Twyford Hall and Theatre venues in Merimbula on the Far South Coast of NSW on behalf of the trustee for the community of Merimbula. It is a registered arts charity/DGR and not-for-profit company limited by guarantee governed by a Board of Directors. Twyford Hall is a heritage-listed community hall which seats approx 170 in a flat wooden-floored auditorium with a raised stage. There is also a small supper room (seats up to 20) and a commercial grade kitchen. Theatre Twyford is a new 199 raked seat theatre being built adjacent to the hall, with expected completion in 2024. It will house a new foyer/bar area, two dressing rooms, control room with all new lighting, sound and AV as well as streaming services in and out and a loading dock to the backstage of both the Theatre and Hall. The Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre is located in the cultural precinct in the heart of the city on the banks of the Wollundry Lagoon. Built in 1963 it has had an auditorium and foyers up-grade in the year 2000. The downstairs foyer has the booking office that services most local events, the upstairs foyer has a theatre bar including a balcony with the most gorgeous view over the Wollundry Lagoon. The auditorium is raked and seats 488. Disabled access is by a lift and a ramp and there is a choice of wheelchair seating in 3 different areas of the theatre. There is a hearing loop throughout. The stage has a proscenium arch, is fitted with an orchestra pit and is equipped to suit most technical requirements. Companies can unload sets via a large loading dock that can accommodate up to semi trailer size straight on to stage level. The Brolga Theatre is an $11M Theatre and Convention Centre situated in Maryborough, Fraser Coast Region, Queensland. It opened in July 2000 and was designed by Brisbane Architect Bligh Voller Nield. It won the FDG Stanley Award for Public Buildings and the Queensland Architecture Awards 2001, Public Buildings Community Building Award, and was a finalist in the Royal Australian Institute of Architects National Awards . The Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC) was the heart and soul of Proserpine, but the building was extensively damaged during Cyclone Debbie. The rebuild began in late 2020, and is proudly funded by the Australian Government through the Building Better Regions Fund and Queensland Reconstruction Authority. It aims to bring the broader Whitsunday community together for functions, events and performances. The new facility will provide 380 tiered seats in a retractable seating system and the design provides flexibility for up to 500 people seated indoors and outdoors as a multi-purpose use facility. The open plan design allows the performance hall to connect seamlessly with a landscaped external space so that the capacity of the building can be further increased for outdoor events and annual ceremonies like Anzac Day .

The Marion Cultural Centre is a glowing jewel in South Australia’s architectural landscape, winning prestigious awards for its uniqueness and environmentally friendly design and function. The Devonport Entertainment & Convention Centre has been re-branded to become the paranaple arts centre. Don Russell Performing Arts Centre opened its doors in March 1994 to promote cultural appreciation and practice in the City of Gosnells. This purpose-built facility provides a unique and affordable theatre and dance studio for local performing arts groups, community cultural groups and professional performing arts companies, alike. It has a classic proscenium arch style theatre with all of the comforts expected in any professional theatrical space. The auditorium is fitted with cushioned raked seating for up to 235 patrons and features professional theatre sound and lighting systems. The Stage area is 7.5m - 9m wide and 4.6m - 6.9m deep. One of Australia’s most sophisticated and stylish venues, His Majesty’s Theatre has been entertaining audiences for 100 years. With visiting casts including Sir Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh and Katharine Hepburn, the theatre has also played host to world-renowned touring companies including Ireland’s Abbey Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company. His Majesty's Theatre was named after the reigning British monarch of 1904, King Edward VII. It is believed to be the only remaining working Edwardian theatre in Australia, and is one of only two remaining His Majesty's Theatre's in the world. When the Western Australian government purchased the building in 1977, the theatre was in much need of major structural improvements. It took two years and over $11 million to refurbish and restore the building to the modern, yet aesthetically traditional facility it is today. His Majesty’s Theatre is the performing home of the West Australian Ballet and West Australian Opera and celebrated its centenary in 2004.

Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is the largest performing and visual arts venue in the Peel region and consists of two main auditoriums. December 2003 saw the construction work commence on the conversion of the Moora Town Hall into the Moora Performing Arts Centre. The commencement of this work was the combination of 10 years of planning by many past and present Councillors and staff and community members. Sensorium Theatre leads Australia in creating multi-sensory theatre for children and young people living with disability, including complex disability and Autism. Founded by Francis Italiano and Michelle Hovane in 2010, and proudly based in WA, Sensorium are best known for their joyous, immersive, multi-sensory theatre works - The Jub Jub Tree, Oddysea, Whoosh! and Wonderbox. The Company has performed in New York (The Lincoln Centre) as well as in Singapore and Hong Kong. In 2025 Wonderbox will complete a 13-venue national tour and continue their collaboration with The Art Ground (Singapore) at OzAsia. In addition to large scale theatre works, Sensorium delivers a year-round program of Sensory Storytelling sessions to schools, libraries and community centers, and offers Professional Learning in their sensory methodology.

Located  on the corner of Roe and Williams Streets in Northbridge, the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia opened in 2011 and features the 575 seat Heath Ledger Theatre, the 250-seat flexible Studio Underground and 200 seat Rehearsal Room Downstairs. Also included in the Centre is The Courtyard, a multi-purpose outdoor events space, two rehearsal rooms and two flexible-use private suites. Designed by award-winning Kerry Hill Architects, the design has delivered a building which not only provides a functional and inspiring venue for performers and their audiences, but is a defining architectural landmark for Perth. The Centre is home to resident companies Black Swan State Theatre Company, Barking Gecko Theatre Company and Co3 Australia.

Only 10 minutes west of Perth's central business district, the Subiaco Arts Centre is a multi-purpose venue surrounded by magnificent gardens. Originally built as the Subiaco City Hall in 1956, the building was converted into a performing arts venue and opened in 1984 as the Subiaco Theatre Centre. In 2006, the centre underwent major refurbishment and reopened as Subiaco Arts Centre. The Centre has three dedicated performance areas including: Main Auditorium with a corner stage and raked seating three sides for 305 The Studio with an intimate performance area seating 119 Subiaco Theatre Gardens with a stunning amphitheatre for outdoor concerts Subiaco is home to Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company. The Centre is owned by the City of Subiaco and has been leased to Perth Theatre Trust since 1984.

West Australian Ballet is a major performing arts company, with 37 full time dancers and 80 staff. WAB runs four major main stage seasons a year at His Majesty’s Theatre in Perth and one in-house, choreographic season in the Company’s state-of-the-art ballet centre in Maylands. WAB works regularly with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, West Australian Philharmonic Orchestra, and commissions choreographers, designers and composers from around the world.
